PT Asphalt Bangun Sarana and BNN Successfully Hold Anti-Drug Awareness Program
Jakarta, September 17th, 2024 – Demonstrating its commitment to workplace health and safety, PT Asphalt Bangun Sarana (ABS) recently partnered with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) to conduct a simultaneous anti-drug awareness program across seven of its depot locations. This initiative aims to raise employee’s awareness of the dangers of narcotics and the detrimental impacts they have on individuals, families, and work environments.
Under the theme “Safety Yes, Drugs No, ABS OK!”, the event serves as part of ABS’s ongoing efforts to foster a safe, healthy, and drug-free workplace. We believe that by cultivating shared responsibility, we can maintain the health and safety of every team member, allowing them to focus on long-term success. This vision aligns with our support for sustainable infrastructure projects, such as the Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN), which prioritizes sustainability at every stage of its development.
PT ABS Director Ilham Mardanis, S.E., emphasized the company’s stance on narcotics in his opening remarks,
“Safety is our priority, and drugs are not an option! Drugs not only harm the individual but also have a severe impact on families, workplaces, and society at large. At ABS, we maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy on drug use in any form. Remember, your loved ones await you to come home safely.” said Ilham.
